Junior Year Fall and Winter

We meet with students and parents, together and separately. Using a variety of evaluative tools, we learn about the student’s personality, academic history and social life.  We advise on testing schedules, preparation and senior year course selection.

Junior Year Winter and Spring

Based on the information gathered in our initial meetings, we create a list of target colleges. Meetings during this phase of the process focus on narrowing the target list based on student feedback.  We help the student learn how to research each school, how to decide which colleges to visit, how best to conduct those visits and interviews, and finally, how to evaluate visits upon his or her return. 

Senior Year Summer

Meetings during this part of the process focus on the essay and personal statement writing process.  We provide specific deadlines and support so that the student completes these application materials well before the pressure mounts. 

Senior Year Fall

Using practical time and material management tools such as time tables, deadlines and individual binders, we help the student stay on task during the application process.  We offer final essay critiquing, interview preparation and review of final application materials.  We can also help those students who are preparing portfolios, auditions and sports videos by making appropriate referrals within our professional network.

Senior Year Spring

We consult with students and families once acceptances are in as to the final college decision.

Post-Graduation Summer

We provide an array of practical information for both students and parents to ease the transition to the first year of college.
